Adam Schindler Replaces Junior Assuncao at Legacy 20

Bellator and Strikeforce veteran Adam Schindler (10-5) has stepped in to replace Junior Assuncao and will take on Chris Pecero (8-4) at Legacy FC 20. Schindler is coming off a knee injury that occurred in his last fight back in May. A talented grappler with a very strong wrestling background, Schindler has finished seven opponents in his ten wins and has fought Legacy veterans Brian Melancon, Justin Reiswerg, and Derrick Krantz.

Pecero, a Corpus Christi native, is riding a four-fight win streak which saw him finish three opponents, with his last loss coming to Legacy FC 19 winner Rey Trujillo.

Legacy Fighting Championship 20 will take place on May 31 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX, and is headlined by lightweight fight between Legacy and UFC veteran Carlo Prater and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt Carlos Diego Ferreira. The card also features the Legacy debut of Damacio Page, Jimmy Flick in his return since his first loss against Flyweight Champion Will Campuzano, and undefeated Matt Schnell.
