The event, which is set for the Olympisk Arena in Grozny, Chechnya, on Saturday, August 24, will see Europe’s fourth-ranked bantamweight face the highly-rated Ukrainian prospect on the main card.
Brum (12-2) is currently on a six-fight win-streak, which began in October 2011 when he rebounded from a loss to current UFC star Erik Perez to defeat Martin McDonough.
The 26-year-old Englishman, who has since remained unbeaten, made his Cage Warriors debut last year before going on to pick up wins over Leandro Gontijo, Thomas Back, James Saville, Moktar Benkaci and Olivier Pastor.
“I’m really looking forward to fighting for Cage Warriors for the sixth time in my career and I’ll be looking to entertain the Chechen fans. I’m excited about fighting overseas again,” said Brum.
“My opponent is young, hungry and very confident, which makes him extremely dangerous. But he’s never been in the cage with an opponent of my calibre.”Abiltarov (10-1) has been building a big reputation in eastern Europe since making his professional debut just last year and will be looking for his fifth win on the trot when he clashes with Brum.
The 21-year-old has taken six of his 10 victories inside the first round and has competed for the M-1 and Pro FC promotions. He said:
“I’m very thankful and excited to be competing for Cage Warriors. It will be an honour to fight at such a high level."
“I’ve been training hard and I’ll give everything I have to win this fight. I’ll be looking to impress Cage Warriors and the fans on the night.”More fights are still to be announced for CWFC 58.
